Each day Coco reminded us why we do rescue.
You were much loved, Coco. We will miss you.
Dana came to us in the Summer of 2007 when owner had to move and did not feel it was in Dana's best interests to go with her. Dana had stayed with use often while her owner was ill. She was very much a part of our family and very deeply loved. When her owner asked me if we would take care of Dana, until she could reclaim Dana, we did not hesitate. Dana was an endearing sweet old lady who's greatest joy was to have her bum scratched and to lay on the floor in front of the heat registers. I loved babying Dana with special treats, such as scrambled eggs for breakfast. It absolutely broke my heart when a very sudden series of health issues took Dana from us. I could not miss her more or cry for her more if she was my own dog. My deepest condolence to her true owner. Thank you for sharing her with me, and I know you share my heartfelt sadness.
I will miss your morning snuggles Dana. Coffee in the morning will never be the same without you sitting in my lap.
We miss you Wiggle Butt.
We miss you so much.
Stars truly lived her short life like a candle in the wind. She did everything full throttle. Even with a cast on her leg she could hold her own, once having been seen to smack Bows in the head with her cast when Bows tried to take advantage of her deminished mobility. She is free to fly now. Fly my sweet Stars, fly away.
As we all know, all IGs are special, but Pagan was special among IGs. He was such a beautiful boy. To see him prance around the house and the yard would always make you smile. He was art come to life. All you had to do was look into those beautiful dark eyes to see he had a gentle and loving heart. We miss you Pagan.
